a little word of advice to those
stressed out
by problems..
i am not saying that problems don't exist.
they do.
but a problem's only as big as you want it to be.
no problem is too big for us to handle.
to those who gets stressed out by problems and feel like the world is against them and they are clueless on what to do,
keep your composure.
keep your head light.
there's no need to dwell on the problems.
just enjoy life, and in the process, try to find solutions to your problem.
often the best solution comes if your head is light.
an example.
i got stressed out on what to do for my IGCSEs.
but then i thought, why worry?
Just do what you can
e.g study, study, study
God will take care of the rest.
so really, don't panic.
just enjoy.
remember, a problem is a problem, but they are only as big as you want it to be.
anyway, it's the midterms.
yeay! NOT!
i barely sleep.

surroundings...
I'm surrounded by people but yet I feel lonely...
somehow, that phrase sums up all the feelings I have right now.
i'm not talking about my family, coz' they're awesome, but people here implies my friends, my peers.
i'm surrounded by many people, but yet i'm lonely.
makes me wonder,
is it me or is it them?
i feel that it is me.
problem is, there's no one trying to tell me where i'm wrong in behaving or socializing.
what on earth should i do?
stop making friends and be a self centred person?
that's not exactly an option is it?
or is my character only suitable to some people?
some tried to tell me that you should start talking to people.
i'm not the kind of person who text messages or calls people on random.
if there's no need to talk to them, i don't.
i'm not sure.
ironically, people who i don't meet everyday or talk to everyday are those who knows me best.
and i thought the people who i hang out with knows me.
person A asks person B thrice to go somewhere.
i thought i was close with A, because i hang out with her and i thought that A and B weren't close.
but A asks B to go, and didn't even tell me.
now, i know that it's stupid or unimportant to feel this way but i can't help but wonder:
A asks B and didn't even care to tell me?
which brings me to my other question:
i thought i was close.
why? was inviting me to go as well too hard?
and it leads to yet another question:
why no invite?
is because of 'me'?

why bother dating?
another rant here.
question to all u daters out there..
Why date someone if u're not even close to your dates?
let me give a situation.
boy and girl dates. girl however isn't even that close to boy, instead, girl is close to boy's best friend and tells the best friend everything.
boy becomes upset and hides a pain, which frankly, can't be expressed because its his own best friend.
which strengthens my question:
why date someone if u dont even trust them?
when u date someone, isnt that the person u're supposed to trust? the person you tell your feelings to, your thoughts and your ideas.
instead nowadays, couples, its just about the making out and the status.
but is that what relationship is nowadays?
isnt a healthy relationship based on communication, which frankly isnt honored anymore?

so, like last tuesday i went to singapore poly to look at the school
and let me tell ya,
it was awesome!
the programs and the facilities they offered was something i never dreamt of.
they offer 227 diploma programs.
what more can u ask?
to get in though, that's a different story.
let's just say because of it, i have to take
wait for it
5 IGCSEs in may or june
and
i only have 3 months to prepare for everything.
impossible?
we'll see.
actually, i'll see coz im the one taking it.
okay..
did u know in sg u cn take o lvls without attending school?
private candidate...
anyhow, in the more recent news..
grades 7, 8, and 9 have abandoned the grade 10 and left for malaysia.
we are so getting our revenge.
but probably next time.
anyhow, i just gotta get this out.
u know whr girls posts all this status and talks about what great guys should do?
have they once considered that in order to receive those treatment for us dudes, they gotta give also?
its great for those girls that realize that they have to give in order to take, but for those who keep taking and taking, this might be the answer to some of ur problems.

CNY Angpao bo lai!
Hellooo people!!
its been what three weeks since i last updated this thing?
man, i kept wanting too but keep forgetting
i keep getting topics but i keep forgetting
i want to take a dump but i keep forgetting? nah, dont worry. my bowel movement's fine LOL
anyhow, how y'all doin?
excited for CNY?
i am VERY VERY normal about CNY.
why? coz i dont get angpaos.
friends suggested that we use a loophole in the angpao giving system.
it's a rule that every unmarried person has to be given money if they come to yee house, no matter if u know them or not.
so they're suggesting that we enlarge our balls and just enter people's house and get some of those angpaos.
want to, can't. i still have shame LOL.
anyhow, how's school goin?
one week holiday here, which sucks coz other school get like 2 - 3 weeks. in singapore, they get one week off.
so, i was just recently made the media guy dude in junior youth.
part of the job specification is:
i man the lyric changing thingy (press down every 3 seconds)
i write things about IT to be put in the news
oh well, just gotta enjoy it.
its serving the Lord and someone's gotta do it right?
anyhow, would anyone be grateful and show me where i can get basketball dvds?
i would appreciate it a lot.
oh yeah, the script released their new album.
anyone heard about the meet taylor swift contest?

so i am never able to connect with the watch out for friends statement.
sure we have to pick our friends, but for me, this story just dont work.

The "news" that Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook will shut down on March 15 because he finds running the company "too stressful" is false.
I repeat, false.
It's a rumor based on a fictitious, satirical story published on WeeklyWorldNews.com, a tabloid-style website (formerly a weekly newspaper) best known for past scoops such as "Alien Spaceships to Attack Earth in 2011" and "Megan Fox Is a Man."
It isn't news. It barely even qualifies as a rumor.
Pass that on.
You guys might have read the newspapers claiming that Facebook is shutting down on March 15th, 2011. well, breathe a sigh of relief. it's not. it's just a fake headline.
on the other story, is our 'beloved' minister of telecommunications and information Tifatul Sembiring really going to block RIM? i don't believe so. think of the 1.1 million BIS subscribers living in this country. and think of us, students, whose homework and social life has been rescued by this phenomenon, where we became the second biggest user of twitter in the world. think of the people who doesn't need phone creds anymore, because all their friends are using blackberry. think of the browser, where the internet is always in our hands.
so is blackberry going to be blocked on the 17th? well, looks like we have to see for ourselves eh?

we played badly.

combo of laziness + procrastination + broken internet
anyhow, its all good now

cracked..
well, sup people?

im supposed to be studying right now, but feel like blogging.
atm its raining like crazy.
even the sound from my speakers aint loud enough to cover the noise.
so, today was like the toughest day of the whole exam week.
let me break it down for ya
PPKN, Geography, ICT
school's gotta be kidding me.
three subjects, all requiring me to memorize things.
im nt a big fan of remembering things.
anyway, i went through it.
ICT was hell. dang hard, either blanks or i just put in things in it.
my greates fear is not passing.
well, i care about that.
but my greatest regret right now
not getting 9s in my report.
i need those 9s. i really do.
anyway, i guess its my fault in the first place.
my overconfidence, and procrastination killed me.
note to self.
pride is the key to downfall

oh yeah, i used this analogy today.
"break a glass and u can still can glue it back it together, but it will never be the same"
i guess, it applies to relationships.

anyway, lets rewind time a 'lil bit shall we..
so last friday, the 26th, a bunch of girls, wait, female students came from singapore. they hail from an educational facility called GMBS (is it right?) and they're located at toa payoh (again, am i right?)
anyway, it stands for G........ Methodist Badminton School.
first thought, they have schools just for badminton in there?
okay, so i was chosen to lead three girls around the campus (or more like the kindergarten, primary, and secondary building). it was nerve wracking at first. c'mon, im not good around strangers, let alone a group of girls i barely knew. but thank God these people aren't snobby. if they were, i don't know what i would have done.
i showed them the campus and told them all about it. showed the classes and stuff like that.
after an hour or so of travelling around, i learned that
a) global has a sucky facility compared to their school
b) global has a really bad population crisis
anyway, after showing 'em around, well, we stopped. duuhh.
after lunch or so, the tour guides (me a sucky one at that), were told to gather at the PD room. well, they gave us gifts and things like that.
oh yeah note, i asked one girl to put her name on the notebook. little did i know she already did put her name in the notebook she gave me. hehehehe. sorry. i havent had the chance to read it earlier. anyway, on to facebook with her name on hand. nah, maybe l8r.
anyway, after we're done, well i went home. duuh. im not sleeping in school.

Being critical about "boops" wrapping & gift
Being critical..
definitely not my thing..
i mean like, being able to think critical about things and actually say what you really think about something.
so i guess its like being critical and honest at the same time.
but the problem with being critical
- people might get offended
and i am not good with people hating me.
problem with being honest about what you really think
- people think of you differently, then crap happens, and so on and so forth.
but once in a while, it feels great to be honest and critical.
you don't have to lie to yourself for the sake of letting people hear what they wanna hear.
a friend told me
"its your blog so they don't have power over it.."
well, damn straight she's right!
